A Little More Blush
Peak District Bedroom
This east-facing bedroom was designed to feel warm and inviting throughout the day, even after the morning light has faded. The walls were finished in a bespoke colour inspired by Farrow & Ball’s Setting Plaster, with a little extra orange pigment added to give the room a warmer, more enveloping quality.
Vintage furniture takes centre stage, with layers of tonal wood adding character, warmth and a sense of history. Floor-to-ceiling curtains help to elongate the room, while a considered mix of linens, soft furnishings and tactile fabrics creates a cosy, layered feel.
The result is a bedroom that feels collected rather than overly styled — warm, personal and designed to become more beautiful with time.
